This person felt the need to go into UPS store after breaking out enclosure with force and stole one of @sgvaa kitties!!

He told this UPS employee that “petco is giving away free cats” then asked for a box to put him in! 😤

As you can see Oliver is super chill. He’s a cuddle buddy, sweet kitty. However somewhere along the lines; leaving UPS to who knows where...Oliver freaked out & scratched/attacked this person.

This is where Oliver goes missing and we don’t know where. The suspect was arrested by the “Fallen Soldier’s” memorial on Santa Anita Ave & Valley Blvd.

If anyone can volunteer a bit just driving or walking around the Petco & surrounding areas to see if you spot him; that would be great! We’ve spend a few hours with sgvaa and a few other volunteers tonight looking & putting up flyers. 😐🙏🏼

- A recall of Special Kitty cat food is being issued due to health concerns potentially linked to ingredients in the food that are believed to not meet the company quality and safety standards.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced the recall from the J.M. Smucker Company on Dec. 5. The specific product being recalled is Special Kitty Mixed Grill Dinner Pate. Customers should stop feeding the food to their cat and throw it away. Click here for details about the product.

Eating the food may cause the following symptoms in cats: nausea with excessive salivation, diarrhea, vomiting, difficult walking, seizures, or in extreme cases, death. Consumers should contact their vet immediately if their cat shows any of these symptoms after eating the recalled food.

The food was sold individually and in variety packs nationwide in grocery stores and online.

People with questions should call 888-569-6767 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Kirby/Embree is neutered, microchipped and was wearing a collar with a bell.

We're helping to find an indoor cat who got out while his owners were away for the weekend. The caretaker came to feed and he escaped. Unfortunately, he is in heavy Coyote territory and has a bell on to alert them to his exact location. This is why we always discourage bells on collars.. For just this reason. Things happen!

Coming Soon!! Meet Bailey +Kahlua! These 2 were trapped a few days ago at a colony that was finished in #pomona and were neutered yesterday. A little hissy last night understandably, they have been hands on all day today with one of our volunteer trappers. They are now approaching, talking and backs up for back rubs. They will be available for adoption in the next few weeks. They are approximately 12 weeks old.

Lena was born on the streets of Baldwin Park and was rescued by her foster who volunteers with The TNR Project to end breeding on the streets. Lena was starving. She was alone, untrusting, cold and hanging out under a dumpster trying to find scraps to eat. The volunteer was there to TNR a colony of cats that had been abandoned and swooped Lena up to foster & socialize her. Lena has become a wonderful little girl who will make someone very happy!

Lena is super cute, very sweet and super playful. She loves to roll over and be a nut when you sweet talk her. She will also talk back and loves having a conversation with you. She loves being around you and hanging out. She will follow you everywhere and cuddle up next to you for movie night or NCIS reruns! She is not fond of being held, but is getting better. She's a little shy at first with new people, but wants to be your best friend. Lena has 2 small dogs of her own, but she is not used to other dogs and will have to acclimate to a home with them.
