Putting out a plea for Lucy! We shared about this girl once before on our page, but we continue to do so, because we really need help finding this girl a new adopter or foster BY middle of December at the latest!
Lucy was adopted from us, and has enjoyed great years with her people, but her family recently fell on hard times and they are having to bring her back to us, as much as it breaks their hearts to do so. Mid December she will need to come back to us.
Lucy is a 5 year old pittie mix who is incredibly loyal and adores her people! She loves to wear clothes, and knows fun tricks, loving to learn! She loves food, but do not want it messed with, so proper feeding space is important. She can be dog selective, so meeting any future siblings is important, and she needs a home without young kids. She has gotten along great with a mini horse that she's lived with, as can be seen. She likes to go on walks and does great on a leash. She wholeheartedly loves car rides! She's house and crate trained, but doesn't need a crate, she can be trusted while you are gone!

Friends, please help us find this beauty her family, we know they are out there! She's been in the rescue for months, her babies were all adopted, and she's still here. She's more than ready, it's time for her to find forever!
This young gal came into our rescue as a new momma with 10 tiny pups. They have since found their own families and sweet Patty is still looking for hers. Patty is around 1-1/2 years old. She is thought to be lab / pittie mix. You wouldn’t guess it but she is 50lbs and a perfect medium compact size.
This girl has lots of love to give and has mastered cuddling. She can be cautious with new people and surroundings but overall is happy and playful. Patty would enjoy a dog sibling to play with as much as her humans. She likes her walks and being outside but we are still working on who is walking whom.
Patty has excellent recall and is a smart girl who wants to please. She has already learned many new commands and is house trained. She does well in crate but doesn’t need to be crated when left alone. For those that don't know, due to Covid and working to keep everyone safe, we were not able to hold this event last year. This event is important to our rescue, as it allows us to keep following our mission. Cancelling was a scary thing for us. This year, we came back hoping to make it a great year! Due the hard work of our supporters, donors, volunteers, and attendees, we had our best year ever in the history of our rescue!! Not only that, we held a sold out event (with a couple extra)! And now for your Wednesday morning report. A rare sighting of the canine species was captured in the early hours this morning by our team. Locals suggest they are resting up for a wild weekend, while others say they are on a secret mission to discover new yoga poses, the reports however remain unclear, along with there being some doubt about what a "wild" weekend looks like for the young of said species. Some have suggested that it might be sleepy over wild, our investigators are looking into this more, we await their findings. Our investigators so far have uncovered the fact that it appears the adult canine of this group seems to be the cause, or ring leader if you will, of this unusual happening. Some have suggested that milk coma might be the root cause, we will keep you updated on this breaking story. Happy 3 Weeks Old to Lana's Oceanic Litter! These tiny nuggets of love are growing and gaining well. Our biggest is now just under 3lbs, and smallest is not quite a pound and a half yet. They are becoming so feisty and interactive with the world around them now, their foster says the cute levels could literally kill with all those little growls and "attacks" they do, they think they are mastiff size and there is no one who is going to tell them different! Their ears are fully open, they are able to see more each day, and they are quickly figuring out their potty area and becoming more consistent with using it. They have short play sessions throughout the day now, got their first toys introduced a few days ago, though they aren't really playing with those yet, and are having short exploration time outside the whelping box too! They are all about the belly rubs, even at this young age falling over for them when one pets their sides, it's just adorable! They are slow maturing and growing, but that is perfectly okay as every litter is different and there is no wrong way for it to happen, each at their own pace. They are fat, sassy, and happy as can be!
Momma Lana is becoming less interested in nursing now that their teeth are starting to come in, but she's a good mom to her babies and still feeds them without any prompting, and enjoys napping with them sometimes during the day. She's started going for walks around her neighborhood and enjoys that very much, getting to sniff all the things, because as all of us with hounds know, it's a sniff, not a walk, lol!
