It’s someone’s LUCKY DAY! 🍀

@waggingtailsdogrescueny recently pulled this nugget from the @nycacc and we think this cutie looks a lot like one of our favorite actors #stevebuscemi #stevebuscemifanclub

He’s so new we don’t have a lot of details yet (once neutered he will be posted on our website)

Foster home reports he is housebroken and very well behaved! He loves the kids and is extremely affectionate.

When we pull dogs like this, we wonder why they were surrendered to the shelter. Lucky is one lucky guy today!

Hey it’s me, Hermes! Aren’t I cute❓

I’m still waiting for my fur-ever home. I’m about 6 years old, 8 lb poodle mix. My favorite spot is your lap! I’m a very good boy who sleeps through the night in my foster mom's room.

We are looking for a home where someone is home during the day as he doesn't like to be without his humans. He doesn't pay much attention to the other dogs in the foster home but since he just got here we realize he is settling in and finding his way. At this time he does not love to go be leash walked so we are looking for a home with a fenced in yard.

Hermès is doing amazing in his foster home. We are baffled at why this handsome boy has had no interest.

He is doing great with his humans and fur-foster siblings. Loves his walks, doing great on his housebreaking and is an all around love bug. No apartments for this boy as he tends to bark when left alone.

Spa day ✂️ for our new arrival PARKER.

Parker was taken in by @waggingtailsdogrescueny from a local city shelter.

This lovely lady is about 7 years old and 12 pounds. Her foster mom reports that Parker is a very sweet and loving girl who loves her people and thus will follow your every move around the house. She gets along well with other dogs, but she might do better as the only dog, so she can be lavished with all the attention or with another submissive dog.

She sleeps quietly at night in her foster mom’s bed. She walks well on the leash and is working on her housebreaking.

No apartments living for Parker; she will bark and whine when left alone.

Parker has an old untreated injury to her left 👁 . As a result, she has no vision in that eye. The doctor 👨‍⚕️ said her vision in her right eye is great! Parker doesn’t seem to be bother by this one bit.

Flora PUPdate!!! 💜💜💜

Zara 🥰 was rescued from a local shelter. She was born with an eye infection that went untreated for her first couple weeks of life. Unfortunately this infection left her visually impaired, but she does have some vision. Luckily Zara does not seem to be bothered by her impaired vision and can navigate her way around with no problems. She does not require any medication. Zara is sweet and affectionate and loves all attention. She is currently being fostered with lot of dogs; big and small. Zara was also born with a club foot but that does not slow her down one bit she has the cutest little hobble.

Say hello to Santana and swipe ➡️

From a filthy dog meat farm wire crate to this!

Santana is about 5 years and 14 lbs. Our breed GUESS is a Spitz/Pom

He is extremely cuddly, loves to snuggle or be held. Good with all humans, including kids!
Sleeps through the night on floor or crate.
Great with leash walking.
Would be a fine apartment dog or would enjoy a yard.
Great with other dogs.
He’s still getting used to dog beds (can you imagine a wire cage?) so he lays in the crate or on the floor.
His house training in progressing nicely.

We got another one! Please welcome Flora! 💜
She’s a 6 year old, 18 lb Havanese Lhasa Apso mix? 🤔That’s just our guess (she needs to lose a couple of pounds)
She is very good with the other dogs in her foster home, but no kitty cats for her. (She chases 🏃‍♀️ them)
Flora loves to go on walkies and is great on the leash. She loves belly rubs and sleeps through the night in her crate in her foster mom's room. We think that Flora would be able to go to a home with teenagers. Flora is currently working on her housebreaking and since is so smart, and a quick study, we believe she will have this mastered shortly.
