Happy Monday! These 4 siblings were left in front of our sanctuary gate this morning. They are absolutely adorable! What do you think the are? Border collie mixes, perhaps?

We will be honest. We have had A LOT of these incidents in the last 2 months and it is very costly. The rate of adoptions is not keeping up with the amount of the abandoned puppies we are being left or those that we find abandoned. Each puppy requires vetting which entails 2 rounds of vaccines, rabies (when age appropriate) potential skin issue treatment, deworming, monthly flea and tick medication, food, spay/neuter (when age appropriate) and of course a cushion for any emergencies which may include boarding. This really adds up!

The end of the year is coming up when people make their annual charitable gifts and we would be so grateful if you would consider us! It would really make a difference for us.

This is beautiful BRAD PITT, a gorgeous (almost certainly purebred) Husky! We call him Brad because of his piercing blue eyes and his scruffy movie star looks!

Brad is about 62 lbs and 7 years old.

He’s super chill and very sweet! He LOVES people!

This is LUNA! 🌙 Luna is still looking for her forever home. She is currently hanging out with our founder at her house, and she cannot say enough good things about Luna!

To summarize:
⚡️Great with all people, young children too!
⚡️Loves to cuddle. Maybe too much sometimes (ha)
⚡️Great on a leash and loves walking (swipe for video)
⚡️Completely house trained! 😁
⚡️Adaptable! She equally enjoys hanging out / relaxing and being active (playing, walking, etc.)
⚡️She’s about 2.5 years old. Good for someone looking for a young dog who is not a puppy.

Her new favorite past time is to look outside the window and watch the guy mow the lawn (swipe for video) 😆

We have some sad news to report on Taino. He unfortunately passed away at home on Wednesday, October 6th at 10:15am, with his rescuer and caretaker @nelson_gerena by his side. The previous day was his best day yet!

He had been through so much, but from the minute he was rescued, he was surrounded by people who cared about him and he was LOVED. ❤️ While this is such sad news, we have to remember how lucky he was that Nelson found him, he had the best care possible, and was showered with love until the end. 🌈

Thank you @nelson_gerena for being there for him and for everything you did!

This is our latest rescue. 💔😭 We couldn’t say no. This litter of 5 puppies were dumped in the back of a restaurant (no mother in sight) and we were asked if we could take on the case. The look like dachshund mixes!

They have some serious mange which we are addressing. They have been having medical baths for it. 🛁

We look forward to their recovery and getting them adopted into loving homes where they will be cherished as a member of the family.
