Marlene - our beautiful Bassett Hound/ Pointer mix is #upforadoption and still looking for a #foreverhome. Marlene, formerly known as Sinha, is a 30lbs puppy in an adult body. At 18 months, our little bundle of energy thrives with strong leadership and outlets for her energy – long walks, trips to the dog park, a place to run around. She loves other dogs and would be great with another young playful dog to romp with. A fenced in yard would be great! She’s also playful with cats. She is currently being fostered by our trainer who has described her as sweet, playful, fun, affectionate and delightful. She is on her way to being housebroken. We are looking for an active family that will continue to provide her not only with love and affection, but ongoing training and exercise so she can continue to thrive. She is a wonderful dog for the right family. Patience and good leadership is a must for this girl. Marlene is healthy, spayed, UTD on her shots, heart worm neg , microchipped and on preventives.

“Our sweet Sammy, now named Mateo, was found in Puerto Rico as a stray. After he was completely vetted he was adopted by the most amazing family with a canine brother whom he loves to romp around with. We just received these photos and sweet words about him and we couldn't be happier for this sweet boy. (Mateo is on the left).

We just had our family pictures taken. Thought I’d send a couple along. Pedro and Mateo are such good buddies! Mateo is so silly. He loves jumping in empty boxes, no matter how small, and laundry baskets. He also loves sneaking under the bedspread when playing with Pedro after they jump up on the bed.''

#upforadoption Manchita is a beautiful girl who was rescued off the street with her two babies. Her babies got adopted but Manchita had to stay behind to finish her heartworm treatment. While she’s been in foster care she’s been nothing but a dream dog. Super sweet, playful, a little naughty. Her foster mom has nothing but great things to say about her.

Manchita loves everyone but especially dogs and she plays very gently with them. She’d be happiest living with another playful dog. She has no experience with cats. At just 25-30 pounds and 2.5 years old she’s a pure delight. Manchita is spayed and Up-to-Date on vaccinations.

We'd like to thank Denise and her husband John for being our Flight Angels yesterday. On their already scheduled flight to Newark, they volunteered to bring two of our doggies with them in cabin. Bitsy and Taffy remained sweet and well behaved the entire time and their new parents were thrilled to meet them!

Happy Howl-o-ween from our #sfthalumni Kobe who was adopted three years ago. His mom tells us:
