Tessie was with us 2 years ago, she had puppies with us back then and everyone found homes, fast forward 2 years... We received a call back in September that Tessie had been abandoned by her owner and we had to go pick her up. Tessie came to us totally shut down, absolutely terrified and heartbroken. We kept her in the office with us trying to build her confidence and shower her with love. Recently one of our volunteers took her home (top right pic)and Tessie came out of her shell, we thought she was ready for adoption. Tessie met this amazing family several times. Last weekend Tessie trotted off with them, jumped right in the car and made the trip back to New York where she's running in her new yard!!! It was a hard goodbye, with some tears, but seeing her run and snuggling on the couch, and stylin in her new coat, made all our hearts happy!!! Thank you for adopting!!!! 🐾❤️

He was found a stray and sadly no one came looking for him, he is about 7 to 8 years old, loves to go on walks, loves to go in the car and to the beach or park, he appears dog friendly, a dog meet is always required. Four-year-old Oreo has been with us since April. Oreo came to us very pregnant, had nine babies and of course they've all been adopted and she's still sitting here waiting. Oreo walks nice on a leash, appears doggy OK, you can bring your dog by for a meet. Oreo would love to get out of here and into a home for the holidays. You may recognize this friendly face as Buddha, the stunning Cane Corso in need of life-saving gastrointestinal surgery this summer. When we found out this young 1-year-old boy needed this surgery, we knew the only answer was to do the surgery and worry about funds later. Well fast forward a few months later, Buddha (now Apollo) was adopted by an amazing family who loves him unconditionally. The loving bond Buddha has with his family is so beautiful to witness, it brings a tear to our eye that he could've missed out on it. Since his adoption in July, Buddha has been having a grand old time with his family taking extra long relaxing snoozes on the comfy couch and gaining 30LBS!!. Buddha's family has expressed so much gratitude for providing Buddha with his vital surgery - but really it's through the generous donations of our supporters that we are privileged to care for animals in need like Buddha and so many more. Continue to donate to animals just like Buddha through our ResQ Fund so we can keep making miracles happen!

Mable is the smiling grey lovebug you've been searching for. This adult female Staffordshire mix Mable came to us as a stray, but one look at her and you'd hardly be able to tell.

Mable walks around the shelter like she owns the place, hence her bossy personality. She is very outgoing and will be happy to show you as she barrels into your legs head first.

She was adopted from us to a very nice family with another dog. What we found out was that although doggie OK - Mable wants to be the only dog in the home.

Mable can do well with kids 13 and up. Her family should also be experienced with dogs who can be stubborn.

If your interested in this little miss she is available for a meet and greet. We're at the shelter ready to meet you between 12 - 4 daily.

369 days in the shelter and our sweet senior gal Nyla finally walked out the front door!!!! We all had tears running down our faces, as she wore a big smile. We have received several updates and every picture she is smiling and now playing with toys!!!! Happy life beautiful!!! Thank you for opening your heart and home to Nyla!!! ❤️🐾
