We are a 501c3 tax-exempt organization with the mission of supporting the Hardin County Animal Shelter in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.

Friends of Hardin County Animal Shelter was formed in January 2014 to support the shelter by providing materials/equipment that is outside of the shelter's budget, organize and run adoption specials throughout each month and to assist the shelter in educating the community about responsible pet ownership.

Donations can be made to Friends of Hardin County Animal Shelter and 100% of the funds will be used to fulfill our mission. We have no paid employees, just volunteers willing to work for the pets of our county.

We are a 501c3 public charity! All donations to our group are tax-exempt!
