Mia is a sweet 4 years old female tabby. She is very affectionate and loves to be petted. She will start purring the moment you pet her. She likes to brush against your legs while you are cooking or washing dishes. Mia spends her day chilling on a cat tree and running to you for attention and pets.

Ella is around 5 months old, sweet and a little shy in the beginning. We think she may be a ragdoll or medium hair siamese mix of a cat. She is playful with other kittens once she has gotten a chance to know them. She is chill and likes to watch people from atop the cat tree. She enjoys being petted while sitting in your lap.

Lily is about 14 months old and is a very loving dog. She is good with kids, dogs, and cats. She is very affectionate, loves snuggling and giving kisses. Her tail and body is always wagging with happiness when she is around people. Lily is playful, can throw her toys in the air and catching it. If no toys are around she will chase her tail. She enjoys being outside, playing fetch and finding sticks.

She is potty trained and is generally good on a leash for neighborhood walks and hikes but will pull if she is excited to sniff a particular area or meet another person. She will listen to corrections and will turn back to look at you if she starts to walk in front. House trained and crate trained, does well when left alone at home.

Pocahontas is around 5 months old, sweet and a little shy when you first meet her. We think she may be a ragdoll or long hair mix of a cat. She will come up to you for pets or to sniff your hand once she is comfortable with you. Affectionate and Independent are her two biggest traits. More playful around female kittens than male kittens, mostly because the male kittens she has met are a little too active for her likes. Pocahontas is chill and likes to watch her people from atop the cat tree.

Gypsy is an intelligent 8 years old Shepherd/Lab mix girl. She would be great as a working dog. Her favorite game to play is fetch with a tennis ball or squeaky toy. Gypsy is loyal and sweet to her family and those who take care of her. She will stay by your side and sit at the bathroom door while you are brushing your teeth. She also gives the best doggie kisses.

Gypsy doesn't mind cats and will do better around dogs who are submissive and calm. She just wants to be a follower of the pack and looks to her people as the pack leader.

Toaster Strudel is a sweet 17 weeks old tabby kitten. Sometimes will meow at you if you look at him. Enjoys being petted on and be given affection. Playful with other kittens and toys. Curious of calm dogs and will walk up to sniff them.

Bell is around 14 months old. She is sweet but shy and timid. She needs time to feel comfortable around a new person. Once she is comfortable with you, she will want to get in your lap or be petted. She is a very chilled dog who likes to be in the same room as her people, nap on a dog bed or in her crate, enjoy the sun and cooling autumn weather in the backyard.

She is a small sized dog and doesn't like loud movement or too much excitement. House trained and crate trained. She is good around dogs (prefer calmer dogs as the hyper dogs scare her). Doesn't mind cats and enjoys car rides.

Kirby is around 3.5 years old and 60 pounds of pure handsome! He is part Golden Retriever and American Staffordshire Terrier but 100% smart boy having completed the beginner and intermediate obedience classes at PetSmart. He walks well on a leash but also likes to stop and smell the flowers or leave a note for the next dog.

He is playful with other dogs but does not like to share tennis balls with them. He is very obsessed with balls, will run and jump in the air to catch them. We don’t recommend having another dog around him if balls are involved as he is so obsess with them that he will become protective of balls.

He is great in the house and LOVES to be outside walking on new trails or play in any streams he come across. He has been gentle around kids and adults. Has lived with cats and not shown any interests in them.

Sheldon is an amazing dog with our friends at Orphan Annie Rescue. He is an adorable 2 year old, 40 lb boy. He does well with other dogs and cats. A little shy at first but have come around so much since coming into rescue from a hoarding situation. Despite having a few toes amputated due to a deformity he enjoys playing, working on his tan in the yard and am just so loving! Sheldon loves to chew on toys and play with tennis balls. House-trained and wants to be right by his people’s side. Crate trained and so far has been non-destructive when left out unattended. Know how to sit and stay on command. Would be better in a home without children under 10.

ADOPTION UPDATE!

Duke is doing so well in his forever home! He spends his days making new friends and playing at the dog park. When not playing, he is napping and dreaming of his next adventure. Duke is forever a 50+ lbs lap dog.

Till Duke’s next adventure on a boat. Duke was on a boat!!! How awesome is that.

Kasher is around 1 year 3 months old. Very sweet and affectionate. She will often brush against your leg or walk in between your feet while you are cooking or brushing your teeth. If she notices you looking at her, she will walk towards you so you can pet her or scratch her back.
