Wilson County No Kill Animal Shelter Inc
Our community is coming together to solve the animal crisis in Wilson County, Texas by building a non-profit, no-kill animal shelter.
TO provide temporary shelter to stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals for the purpose of finding permanent suitable new homes.
TO provide assistance and financial aid to prevent overpopulation through spaying and neutering programs.
TO support a healthy pet community by providing general veterinary services at low or no cost to those unable to afford care for their pets.
TO promote life-long responsible pet ownership to residents within our community through educational brochures, seminars, tours and special events.
TO establish cross-referral networks with local “for profit” veterinary doctors, clinics, and non-profit rescue groups.
TO provide assistance and information to others whose purposes are consistent with the purpose of the Wilson County No-Kill Animal Shelter.
This page is a community effort focused on creating a no-kill animal shelter/facility that is built, managed and maintained by individual volunteers as well as volunteers from local animal rescue groups. We know Wilson County lacks a facility and the rescue groups are at capacity because of pet overpopulation and abandonment. We can make this happen as a community by pooling our expertise, resources, and effort.
